Bolton-le-sands

Church of England Primary School

It’s easy to pass through Bolton-le-Sands on the A6 but it is well worth a visit. The Lancaster Canal built in the 1790s winds its way through the village and makes for a lovely walk and you can follow the canal all the walk to Lancaster which is 4 miles away. Bolton-le-Sands Church of England School is in a modern building, although it’s predecessor dates back to 1657. The school has a great sense of community spirit and strong links to the Holy Trinity Church.
