Silverdale
St John's CE Primary School

Silverdale is a beautiful village which is located on the coastline of Morecambe Bay. It is part of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and many people know it through visiting RSPB reserve Leighton Moss.

The pupils at St John have wonderful views from the classrooms of a tree lined landscape. If you walk from the school through the village you quickly reach the shore and wonderful views of the Bay. The pupils from St John’s recommend that you visit the Pepperpot, Well Wood and The Lotts.

Gallery: After sessions practicing taking photographs the pupils accompanied the project facilitator Emma Aylett on a photographic and memory walk around the beautiful village of Silverdale. The pupils took some great photographs and they were exhibited as part of the Silverdale Art Trail. Here are some examples.
